Aion 2: Complete Guide to the New 4-Star Infinity Dungeon

The new Infinity Dungeon is here, and this is a 4-star dungeon with significantly improved drop rates. If you are focused on customization, this is where you need to be farming. However, if the RNG isn't in your favor or you want to skip the grind for rare orange gloves and Weight Full Ego materials, you can simply buy Aion 2 items directly and complete your Boss Nightmare set without the wait.

This guide covers everything: pathing, boss mechanics, and exactly what drops you should care about.

What Drops and Why It Matters

The major change in this patch is that 4-star dungeons now drop items previously locked to 1-star and 2-star dungeons.

You are looking for:

Weight Full Ego (high-tier customization material)

Weight Full VI (lower-tier material)

These items cannot be sold on the market. You cannot flip them for profit. What you can do is use them to craft dungeon items that customize your character's appearance. If customization is your endgame, this dungeon is your new home.

The signature gear drops are orange gloves and shoulder armor.

This is the Boss Seil set, also known as the Boss Nightmare set from Season 1. The complete set looks excellent. The gold items are level 92.

This is also a weapon and accessory drop dungeon. If you are still building your character and do not have your PVE rafters yet, this is a good place to gear up. The gear score is solid and the stats are relatively high.

Recommended Lineup

Bring a healer. It makes everything easier.

If you are tanky enough, you can skip certain mechanics and save time. More on that below.

The Two Paths: Warp vs. Flight

This dungeon has two main approaches. You can open warp points as you progress, or you can fly directly through the air vents. Which path you take depends on whether you are running with a group and whether someone has already opened the warps.

Path A: The Warp Method

If you or a teammate have already cleared to certain points, you can open warp portals. This is the safest and most repeatable method.

Jump into the pool here to open your first warp point. This is faster if you have the HP to survive.

Heal up and continue.

Use the platform path to open additional warps.

Once warps are open, your group can teleport directly to boss fights.

This is the method to use if you are concerned about dying. Death resets your progress if you have not opened warps.

Path B: The Flight Method

This is the fastest way to reach Boss 1, but it requires precision.

From the starting area, take the left path and jump onto the platform.

Open the warp here if you want a checkpoint. If not, proceed directly to the air vent.

Launch into the vent and use your wings to fly upward.

Aim for the island where Boss 1 is located.

Critical flight tip:

When flying to the boss island, fly high enough before crossing. The gaps are close together. If you do not time your jump properly, you will fall. Falling does not kill you outright, but you will respawn and have to run back to the warp portal. If you did not open one, that is a long run.

Do not press forward while gliding.

Pressing forward triggers a dodge roll. If you dodge too low, you will lose altitude and fall. Keep your balance. Use the middle of the wing to deflect and maintain height.

Boss 1 Mechanics

Boss 1 is straightforward. The difficulty is chill on normal. Hard mode may be more punishing, but the mechanics are the same.

What to watch for:

Wind lines. Dodge them. Standard stuff.

Ground circles. The boss will place circles on the ground. If you do not clear them all, they will eventually explode and deal damage.

Colored circles above your head. Look up. When the circle color appears above you, run into the matching colored circle on the ground.

Do not get hit by the ground circles while running to your color.

The ground circles slow you down. If you are slowed, you may not reach your color in time. Once you match, go in and attack the boss.

The nearly-full circle mechanic.

When the circle around you is almost full, roll out once. That is it. You have plenty of time. You can even walk out. You do not need to panic.

Getting to Boss 2

After Boss 1 is down, you need to proceed upward.

If you are using warps, a teammate should already be opening the next portal. Wait for the warp button and follow.

If you are flying:

Enter the wind tunnel.

Ride the air vent upward to the next zone.

Land and continue.

At the next checkpoint, you will find a spot to open another portal. This is the entrance to the Boss 2 area.

Jumping the gaps:

Walk normally. Do not run. You do not need to sprint or spin. Just walk and jump. It is easier than it looks.

Once you are across, run along the left side and wait for your group.

Final Notes

This dungeon is not mechanically difficult. The challenge is in learning the pathing and minimizing the time spent running back.

Open warps whenever possible. It saves your run if you die.

If you are confident in your flight, skip the early warps and fly directly to the bosses.

Customization farmers: farm here. The Weight Full Ego and Weight Full VI drops are now in 4-star.

Gear seekers: the level 92 gold items are worth your time.

The regeneration power and difficulty tuning appear similar to the Dragon Dungeon on Normal mode. Adjust your expectations accordingly for Hard. If you find Hard mode too punishing or simply want to gear up faster without repeated wipes, you can buy Aion 2 itemsfrom MMOEXP—they offer fast, secure delivery and the best rates, so you can tackle endgame content with the gear you need right now.
